The best way to apply nail polish so it will last a long time.

Manicure time!

First soak your hands in some soapy water (or after a bath will work.) Then trim, file, and buff your nails. Always buff your nails in the same way or there is a bigger chance that they will split. Then use a product to moisturize your cuticles - Sally Hansens is great. Then push back and trim your cuticles. Next wash hands very well with a nail brush (or an old toothbrush will work) to remove all oils. Dry them very well. Apply a thin base coat and take it over the tips of your nails. Then apply two thin coats of your favorite color. Make sure you roll and don't shake your color. Allow each coat to dry completely about 5-10 minutes depending on the brand. Make sure your polish is fresh and not thick on the brush. After applying the color finish with a top coat and again take it over the tips of your nails. Wait about five minutes and use Sally Hansens quick dry or baby oil over the tops.

My favorite brands are Sally for base and top coats and OPI for color. They can last a year or even more if you keep the lid on tight and don't leave the brush out for too long at a time. I've found that the Quick Dry type don't last as long, if you are really worried about longevity nailpolish. Just throw it out when it looks thick on the brush - you can try adding nail polish remover but it'll never be the same, it looses its luster. Good luck and have fun!

Halloween yet?

Yeah, I know...tell me about it! Bad quality all the way!
But guess what..new camera is in the house!:D Can't wait to start annoying my friends by snapping pictures 24/7. Muhehe.

As you can see I put spiderweb on my nails. Very easy and...perfect for halloween!

Few days ago I had other nail design but just doing it gives you so many ideas how your next nail design is going to be. Haha... Yea, this time it was my poor bronzing powder who was my model. Btw..it's an amazing bronzer! Recommend it strongly tho it doesn't stay on all day, it kinda wears off, if you get what I mean. But it is not at all expensive :)

My fav brush for the bronzer from body shop, the nails in the mirror how they look far away.

I acctuly want to try another bronzer that stays on through the day. If you do know about any, please let me know! P.s. there is no Mac where I live at the moment. Sad, I know :(

My nails this weekend

Hola chicas,

Because it's weekend, I decided to do my nails. I went out yesterday and danced they night away! It was super fun, haha. Black is the color I like the most right now because since it's very cold where I live and black is the color that most poeple wear in the cold. Sooo since I wore black, I did my nails in the same color, but just the edge of the nail! I like it a lil cuz it's not too much and just a bit different. Anyway the result is here:
Hehe, next time im going to gather more pictures and different looks, hope you like it;)!

Get strong and beautiful nails

To gain strong and beautiful nails it is necessary to understand how the nails work and how to solve the nail-problem you are having. If you want thicker, stronger nails, it’s going to take a little more maintenance but it will work! Okay, I don't know about you but nothing turns me off more than if the guy has longer nails than me, hahah...believe me!

Stronger nails: If your body does not get enough calcium (in milk products), your nails tend to become weak and brittle. Even if you do get enough calcium but your nails are still short and weak, it may be because that calcium doesn’t go through, in which case a lot of people have to take vitamins and calcium tablets which you can get in a pharmacy.

Nail hardeners (nail polish which hardens your nails): Helps prevent cracking, chipping, splitting and peeling. Make sure that your nails are clean before application. You should apply two to three coats and then you can apply your nail polish if you want. Nail hardeners should be used at least twice weekly, even if the polish or topcoat hasn’t chipped yet.

Cleaning your nails doesn’t have to take a long time. Simply ensure that they stay clean. When washing your hands, massage soap around your cuticles and nails. Then when moisturizing, add some to your cuticles and around your nails. Add five minutes to your daily beauty routine and use soapy warm water to soak your nails in. When this is complete you can use a soft nailbrush to scrub your nails. Same routine for toenails.
